Newsham South Signal Box


Newsham South Signal Box is located by the level crossing on South Newsham Road (A1061) in Newsham, Blyth. It is a manned signal box on what has been a freight-only line since 1963. The new Newsham Station, close to the signal box, is scheduled to open in 2024 and will see passengers again on the Northumberland Line.
