Moot Hall, Hesket Newmarket

The former Moot Hall on the village green at Hesket Newmarket dates from the late 18th century. It's lower storey opened onto the market cross. The building had varying uses over time. It was used as a coach house, and later as a reeding room and more recently as a commercial garage; it now appears converted for residential use. The building is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
