Milnthorpe Bridge

Milnthorpe Bridge is a stone bridge, which carries the B5282 road over the River Bela, which is located about ½ mile west of Milnthorpe. The single segmental arched bridge was built in 1813 to take the new Turnpike road from Milnthorpe. Milnthorpe Bridge is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England. The bridge straddles the civil parishes of Milnthope and Beetham (the river forming the parish boundary).
