Milestone at Crossriggs


By the roadside, east of the farm at Crossriggs, near Westnewton, is an old milestone from the late 18th or early 19th century, which was errected for the Wigton-Workington Turnpike road. The milestone is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
