Middleton Hall, Middleton
Middleton Hall is a farmhouse in Middleton in Cumbria. It dates from the late 14th century and was originally a manor house and tower house (the tower was documented 1327-1377 and destroyed in 1450).[1] The stone rubble building has been extended over the centuries. It is Grade II* listed on the National Heritage List for England. The 15th century curtain wall encloses a large courtyard on the west side of the house. The curtain walls and outbuilding are separately listed.
