Low Angerton Bridges

Low Angerton Bridges are two adjacent bridges over the River Wansbeck at Low Angerton. The main bridge was built in 1908, by The British Concrete Steel Company. The bridge has dressed rock-faced stone with reinforced concrete with wrought-iron parapets. The secondary "flood bridge" is located 20 metres to the north of the main bridge, built for when the river is in spate. The bridge is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
