Loanend

Loanend is located just to the north of the village of Horncliffe in Northumberland, close to the River Tweed and the border with Scotland. There are number of hamlets including East Loanend, West Loanend, and Loanend House - which are part of the Civil Parish of Horncliffe. Historically, Loadend township was part of the ancient Parish of Norham. The Union Chain Bridge is located near Loanend.
