Lime Kiln south of Keenly Thorn
There is an old lime kiln, located in a former limestone quarry, to the south of Keenley Thorn farmhouse and Quarry House. The lime kiln dates from the 19th century and has two drawing arches. It is a well-preserved example of a double kiln with charging ramp in a limestone quarry. The lime kiln is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
