Knitsley
Knitsley is a distributed hamlet located to the south of Consett in County Durham. It consists of the farms/hamlets of High Knitsley, Low Knitsley, Knitsley Mill, East Knitsley Grange and West Knitsley Grange. A village at Knitsley was recorded during Medieval times, but no remains of this are seen today.[1]
