Kirkwhelpington Bridge


Kirkwhelpington Bridge over the River Wansbeck is located at the south-east of Kirkwhelpington. The bridge was built in 1819. It is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.

KIRKWHELPINGTON BRIDGE - List Entry
- Bridge 1819. Ashlar. Single broad segmental arch. Band marks base of parapet. Chamfered parapet which splays outward on south side to wide roadway. Square end piers with pyramidal caps....
