Kirkhaugh Footbridge

This footbridge over the River South Tyne is located at Kirkhaugh in Northumberland and is on Isaac's Tea Trail. The present bridge, opened on the 16th October 2020, replaced a previous bridge of 1953 which was destroyed by uprooted trees washed into it by floods in September 2018.  There's reputed to have been bridge around this location since Roman times.[1]
