Kirkbampton CofE School

Kirkbampton C.E. School is a voluntary controlled primary school located in the village of Kirkbampton in the district of Allerdale in Cumbria. The school has roughly 110 pupils, aged 3 to 11 years. In the past, back in 1703, it is recorded that children were taught in St Peter's Church. In 1876 the church school and schools at Ploughlands and at Oughterby were replaced by St Peter’s National School at Longrigg Bridge.[1] In turn this building was replaced by todays Kirkbampton C.E. School.
