Hutton Roof is a village in the South Lakeland district of Cumbria, located just over 2 miles west of Kirkby Lonsdale. St John's Church is located in the north end of the village. Historically, Hutton Roof was a chapelry in the ancient parish of Kirkby Lonsdale in Westmorland. Today, the village forms part of the Civil Parish of Hutton Roof.

Hutton Roof is a village and civil parish in the South Lakeland district of Cumbria, England, close to Kirkby Lonsdale and Hutton Roof Crags. Historically in Westmorland, the parish includes the hamlet of Newbiggin. It has a population of 193, increasing to 218 at the 2011 Census.
