High Casterton


High Casterton is a village in the South Lakeland district of Cumbria, located a short distance south from Casterton (aka Low Casterton) and about ½ mile west of Kirkby Lonsdale. There are houses spread along Chapel House Lane and the road running up towards Low Casterton, and further houses by the junction of this road with Gateheads Brow / Collier's Lane. Old Manor here is the former manor house.
