High Barn, Baron Mill

High Barn, shown on OS Maps, is located about 1 mile WSW of Beltingham in Northumberland. It is ¼mile west of Shaws (farm). The 1860 Northumberland Farms Index lists High Barns under Ridley Township in the ancient parish of Haltwhistle. Today, High Barns is part of Bardon Mill Civil Parish. It is not clear if this is/was a separate farmstead or outlying buildings of another farm.
