Hemlington

Hemlington was originally a small farming community. In the 1960's new housing was built in Hemlington to provide affordable residences for the rapidly growing population of Middlesbrough. It is located between Coulby Newham to the east and Stainton to the west. Hemlington has large areas of open parkland including Hemlington Recreation Centre (including Hemlington  Lake) and Hemlington Hall Farm.
