Grindon and Thorpe Thewles Civil Parish

In April 2019, the Civil Parish of Grindon was divided into two new parishes:  Grindon and Thorpe Thewles Civil Parish and Wynyard Civil Parish (Stockton-on-Tees). 

Thorpe Thewles is the main settlement in the Civil Parish, which also includes the hamlets of Grindon and Thorpe Leazes, and a new development at the edge of Stockton-on-Tees around Brock Close and Buckthorn Crescent. There are also a number of farms in the parish.
