Gardner's Houses Prehistoric Settlement



Scheduled Monument area to the north of Dinnington - based on Historic England data (Open Government Licence).

There is evidence of a prehistoric settlement near Gardener's House Farm, which is located anout ½km north of Dinnington village. It is a rectilinear enclosure visible by aerial photography as a crop mark, with a ring ditch and possible hut circle. It is thought likely to be of late Iron Age or Romano-British date.[2] The site is a Scheduled Monument (legally protected).
