Freeman's Hill, Alnwick


Freeman's Hill Farm is located about 3½ miles south-west of the town of Alnwick. The farm was built and enclosed from Alnwick Moor common in 1771. The farmhouse was partially rebuilt in c.1803, incorporating older parts of the original building. The farmhouse is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England. Freeman's Well, associated with the Freemen of Alnwick, is located to the south-east of the Farm.
