Former Methodist Church, Limestone Brae

This former Methodist Church is located in Limestone Brae in West Allen, Northumberland. It was originally built as a Wesleyan Methodist chapel in 1825. Whellan's 1855 directory of Northumberland states that the chapel was rebuilt in 1847.[1] In 1875 it was extended to add a Sunday School. The church closed on the 13th of August 2000 and was subsequently converted for residential use.[2] The building is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
