Featherstone Footbridge

Featherstone Footbridge (aka Castle Bridge) over the River South Tyne is in the parklands of Featherstone Castle, about 3 miles south-west of Haltwhistle. The wooden-decked girder bridge was built in 1990 but needed subsrantive repairs following flood damage in 1995. Following further severe flooding in 2014, the bridge collapsed and was repaired in late 2015.
