Cranecleugh Burn

Cranecleugh Burn is a small river which flows through Kielder Forest into Kielder Water in Northumberland. It forms at the confluence of Back Burn and Binky Burn and is later joined by Little Cranecleugh Burn. Cranecleugh Burn and it's tributaries have a catchment area of 32 km2.[1] There is a ford and footbridge over the burn at Low Cranecleugh, close to where it flows into the Whickhope inlet of Kielder Water. The Low Cranecleugh Outdoor Centre (Calvert Trust) is located there.
