Churchyard Gates, St Mary's, Kirkby Lonsdale


At the top of Church Street in Kirkby Lonsdale is the ornate the churchyard gateway to St Mary's Church. The triple wrought iron gateway has two ornate pillars and central arch bearing letters and date "W.J.1823".[1] The gates themselves are said to be early 20th century. The gateway is Grade II listed on the National Heriate List for England.
