Church of St Michael & All Angels, Nether Wasdale


St Michael & All Angels Church in Nether Wasdale is thought to date from the 15th century.[1] The Parish Church was originally a chapel of ease to the ancient parish of St Bees Priory. Nether Wasdale chapel was consecrated in 1535. There have been a number of modifications and additions, including the north aisle, added 1830. The church is a Grade II* Listed building on the National Heritage List for England.
