Church of St Mary the Virgin, Throckley


The parish church in Throckley was built in 1887 by W.E. Hicks. The church was partly paid for by John Spencer of Whorlton Hall in memory of his wife who died 1882. The church is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
