Cemetery Spire, Amble


East Cemetery is located off Links Road in Amble. The spire here is a prominent local land mark. It was built in 1878 and was originally the entrance to twin mortuary chapels. The chapels were demolished in 1971. The entrance screen and spire are Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
