Captains Wharf


Captains Wharf is a street and modern development build around the former docks in South Shields, including the dry docks of the Brigham & Cowan shipyard, which closed in 1982. As well as modern housing, there are sculptures by Irene Brown. NE33 1JQ

Co-Curate is a project which brings together online collections, museums, universities, schools and community groups to make and re-make stories and images from North East England and Cumbria.
