Burnmouth Bridge, Whitfield


Burnmouth Bridge carries the A686 road over Church Burn, shortly before the burn enters the River West Allen at Burnmouth. The stone bridge was built in 1759, and is inscribed with the date and initials W.O. (William Ord). The bridge was widened in 1933. It has a single segmental arch. Burnmouth Bridge is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
