Broughton Moor Primary School is located on Wyndham Road in Broughton Moor. it is a community school with about 80 pupils aged 3-11. The school buildings date from c.1877, with a large modern extension to the rear. It was originally built as Wyndham Row Board School (following the Education Act 1870). Later names for the school include Moor Council School, Broughton Moor Council School. There was also Broughton Moor County Infants School (presumably also on this site).
