Bowlees


Bowlees is a hamlet in County Durham, located in Upper Teesdale, about 3 miles north-west of Middleton-in-Teesdale. It is situated by Bow Lee Beck, which joins the River Tees about ½ a mile south-east of the settlement. Bowlees and Gibson's Cave Nature Reserve is to the north. The Low Force waterfalls and Wynch Bridge over the Tees are close by, to the south.
