Atlas Chambers, Westgate Road


Atlas Chambers, no. 88 Westgate Road, Newcastle. Shop and offices, dated 1894 on it's corner turret. It stands on the junction of Westgate Road and Clayton Street. At time of writing (2020) the shops include 'Beyond' records and Kaspa's Desserts. Historically, it was head office and main retail branch of Jackson the Tailor. In more recent times, it hosted Burger King and Dunsford Office Furniture. The building is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
