Winshields Farm, Henshaw


Winshields is a farm in Northumberland, located off the B6318 Military road, west of Once Brewed, and about 11 miles WNW of Hexham. The Vallum of Hadrian's Wall runs through the farm. The Wall itself is located about ¼mile to the north, running along Winshields Crags, including the remains of Milecastle 40 (Winshields)
