Whitworth Park Academy


Whitworth Park Academy is located on Whitworth Lane in Spennymoor. The academy has about 750 students aged 11 to 18.[1] The main school buildings date from c.2012 built when Whitworth Park School and Sixth Form College was formed by the merger of Spennymoor Comprehensive School (here on the Whitworth Lane site) with Tudhoe Grange School (St Charles Road, established in 1912). This became Whitworth Park Academy in September 2018. It is part of a Multi-Academy Trust called Advance Learning Partnership (ALP).
