War Memorial, Newburn
The War Memorial in Newburn is located on Newburn Road in a prominent postion by the junction with Station Road. The memorial commemorates 81 local servicemen who lost their lives in the First World War. It was unveiled on the 15th July 1922 by the Duke of Northumberland. The memorial is Grade II listed on the National Heritage List for England.
