War Memorial, Holme

The war memorial cross in Holme, Cumbria, is located in Memorial Garden at the junction of Duke Street and Milnthorpe Road. The memorial was unveiled in November 1923 and dedicated by Reverend Jardine.[1] The memorial is inscribed with the names of 29 local servicemen who lost their lives in the First World War. After the Second World War, the names of 2 local men who died in that conflict were added.
