Rochester Village Hall is located by the A68 in Rochester, Northumberland. The village hall was founded in September 1931 after the land it occupies was bequeathed to the village by the local landowner David Freeman-Mitford, 2nd Baron Redesdale.[1] In 1978 the Hall became a charitable trust; In 2000 Lord Redesdale Estates bequeathed a further land, which was developed into the lawn and garden at the rear of the hall. A major refurbishment of the hall was undertaken in 2007.
