Village Hall, Rennington

The Village Hall is located off The Green in the village of Rennington, Northumberland. The hall is run as a charitable trust and serves Rennington Civil Parish.

"The Village Hall was formerly the village school. It is a traditional stone-built school which opened in 1894 to replace the old school (now a private dwelling) for 60 children and was expanded 10 years later to accommodate 120 pupils but as farming and schooling practices changed numbers fell and it closed as a school in 1982 with just 6 pupils and was adapted to become The Village Hall in the mid 1980’s."
