Usworth School (closed)


Usworth School was a secondary comprehensive school in Usworth, Washington, which opened in 1969. The school closed in July 2007. The school had been rebuilt, following the "Great Usworth Fire" on the 9th November, 1974. During the blaze the fire service pumped water from the school swimming pool to help put out the fire.[1]
