Toy Museum (Closed 2012)
The Toy Museum was founded in 1985 by Tony and Maureen Bracken, originally located in a unit on the lower promenade in Whitley Bay. It relocated to Tynemouth where it became a popular attraction for 19 years, before being closed in 2012 by North Tyneside Council because of safety concerns.
