Town Kelloe

Town Kelloe is a hamlet in County Durham, located about half a mile east of the village of Kelloe and 6 miles south-east of the City of Durham. Kelloe Hall here dates from the 18th century, on the site of the old manor house. Before the modern village of Kelloe developed, there was "Town Kelloe", the settlement centred on the Hall, and "Church Kelloe" around St Helen's Church. Town Kelloe forms part of Kelloe Civil Parish.
