The Vicarage, Lanercost Priory


The Vicarage at Lanercost Priory incorporates the former Guest House of the Outer Court of the priory. The building dates from the early 13th century with additions of mid-16th, and alterations in the early 19th century. It was constructed using calciferous and red sandstone from the nearby Roman Wall. The building is Grade I listed on the National Heritage List for England.
