The Racecourse


The Racecourse is a sports ground belonging to Durham University, located in Durham, next to the River Wear. It has been used as a sports ground since at least 1733. The Racecource is also used to host the Durham Regatta and Durham Miners' Gala.

Co-Curate is a project which brings together online collections, museums, universities, schools and community groups to make and re-make stories and images from North East England and Cumbria.
