The Beacon Centre (Alternative Education Service)
The Beacon Centre (Alternative Education Behaviour Support Service) is a Pupil Referral Unit supporting children, young people and their families who, for a variety of reasons, are currently unable to access mainstream education. The centre is located on Temple Park Road, South Shields. The Beacon Centre was completed in 2013 and replaced St Mary’s Centre Alternative Education Service.
