Swinhope Burn

Swinhope Burn is a tributary of the River East Allen in Northumberland. The burn arises near Hope Head, by Swinhope Moor, and flows on a roughly north-easterly direction past the distributed settlement of Swinhope (aka Swin Hope), to join the East Allen near Spartylea. There are remminants of old lead mining works and spoil heaps around the valley of Swinhope Burn.
