War Memorial, Stargate


The War Memorial is located in a small fenced garden at the junction of Stargate Lane and King Edward Road in Stargate. The memorial was unveiled 14th February 1920, in remembrance of the 11 men from Stargate who lost their lives in the First World War. The memorial was later also dedicated to 22 local men who lost their lives in the Second World War. The monument is Grade II listed.
