St Margaret's Farm, Denwick

St Margaret's is located about 2½ miles south-west of the town of Alnwick. It is situated near Firth Burn. Whellan's 1855 directory of Northumberland lists Thomas Laidler as the farmer at St. Margaret's at that time. Historically, St Margaret's was part of Alnwick South Side township in the ancient parish of Alnwick. Since 1894, St Margaret's has been part of Denwick Civil Parish (Detached part). Today, St Margaret's offers bed and breakfast ('The Night Owl') in the farmhouse.
