Ridsdale


Ridsdale is a village in Northumberland, located about 11 miles north of Hexham and 6 miles south of Otterburn. The village is on the A68 road and has an inn called The Gun at Ridsdale. To the north of the village are the old engine house and other remains of the 19th century Ridsdale Iron Works. The area was once know for Ridsdale Deer Park, documented in the 14th century. Today, the village forms part of Corsenside Civil Parish.
