British Trolleybuses - Newcastle upon Tyne

  • Description

"The bottom of Welbeck Road, Walker. The riverside industry at this point has been completely removed. Originally, trams and later trolleybuses ran along the road at the bottom between Newcastle and Wallsend; the trolleybuses seen here still used part of that route to the right of the picture to terminate at Church Street, Walker.
