"Monument and drinking trough. Dated 1907, erected by public subscription; sculptor L. Fritz Roselieb. Calciferous sandstone with granite dressings, cast bronze plaques and figure....Sandstone shaft has side bronze plaques of Peace and Temperance, bust of Sir Wilfred Lawson 1829-1906 and rear inscription. Bronze figure of St George and Dragon; all signed and dated by the sculptor. Horse drinking-trough adjoins at front...." -
