Barrow-in-Furness

  • Description

Posted 1903. Abbey Road. Probably one of the original Kitson locos with a Falcon trailer built for the Barrow-in-Furness Tramway Company in 1885. The system was electrified from 1903, just months after this card was posted. The single track in the background was double-tracked soon after.
